What is NAMI Contra Costa’s The Family Network?
The NAMI Family Network mission is to empower families through direct support before, during, and after times of mental health crises by discovering community, cultural, and familial strengths and resources and advocating for our consumers to gain access to them all.
Who Are We?
The Family Network is a group of trained volunteers who provide support to family members and loved ones of individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Our goal is to help others navigate the complicated mental health care system and to overcome barriers to linkage of services by listening, educating, and then guiding families towards helpful resources. The volunteers are able to provide services at all stages, whether you be in crisis or not.
